1. SWEDISH DINNER

A walk to a TRADITIONAL DINNER in a Swedes home. 

The dinner tour is leading from the metro Västra skogen in Solna (blue metro line all trains from the City, 4 stops) to a beautiful view over Stockholm and a spectacular piece of art, also loved by children. We talk about the houses and apartments in the area and look at the small forrest which has a royal story.

The complete dinner with Swedish flavours, is served in one of our homes. Typical Swedish food is called "husmanskost". ​Be prepared for Catarina's home made ginger shot is very powerful! This shot is called "nubbe" and it's always served together with the starter, while singing a short traditional shot song, a "nubbe-sång". Perhaps you have a song from your country?​

We serve Swedish non alcoholic drinks, fully in accordance with the Swedish laws for sale of dinner or coffee in private homes, but the guests are allowed to bring alcoholic drinks.​​​​

Outside the metro station VÄSTRA SKOGEN, blue line 10 and 11.

2. SWEDISH FIKA

A walk to SWEDISH FIKA in a Swedish home at 14:00.

We meet outside the Royal OPERA House, the main entrance. We are going to tell you about our most famous tenor singer and look at some spots in the big park, Kungsträdgården, before going to one or our homes with the metro.

The SWEDISH FIKA a cake buffet and Swedish roasted coffee, tea, hot chocolate or juice. You are served delicious cinnamon or cardamom buns and several different Swedish cakes. If there are children in the group, they are welcome to join in rolling Swedish chocolate balls, please tell us by booking. It usually gets messy and fun!

The main entrance to the Royal OPERA house (NOT The Royal Dramatic theater at Nybroplan) with the address Gustav Adolfs torg 2, Stockholm city.
 

All guests must pre-book and pay in advance.

PRICES

1. The Swedish DINNER tour:

• SEK 1.500 per adult, from 13 years old.

• 10 % off/adult EARLY booked, more than 2 weeks before (sek 1.350 / person.)

• SEK 600/child 6-12 years. Younger kids are for free.

• 10 % off/child EARLY booked, more than 2 weeks before (sek 540 / child).

• A PRIVATE GROUP without strangers can be booked for DINNER. The price is for 1 to 4 people (SEK 6,200). Beyond four people, the normal rate (SEK 1,500/1,350) per person applies.

PRICES

2. The Swedish FIKA tour:

• SEK 750 per person (minimum 2 persons, please ask us if some more has booked).

• SEK 450 per child 6-12 years.

Younger kids are for free.

• A PRIVATE GROUP without strangers in the group can be booked for the FIKA. You pay for at least four people (sek 3,000). If there are more than four of you in the group, the regular price (sek 750/450) per person is paid. Please ask us about the date and time that suits you best, if we can meet you then.

Swedish dinner or Swedish fika in our homes are paid for in advance

When Sill & Fika / CB Tal & Text have confirmed your booking we will send a link for payment. We use the payment system PayPal. In the event of cancellation, repayment in full will be made up to midnight one week before the walking tour to our Swedish home.

So book a tour, put on your walking shoes and bring your SL- or bank card for a short ride on the metro/subway ("tunnelbanan"). After about 30 minutes walk with several pauses we arrive to the TRADITIONAL DINNER or SWEDISH FIKA in a Swedish home!
