1. A tour to a TRADITIONAL DINNER in a Swedish home at 17:00. 

The dinner tour is leading from the metro Västra skogen in Solna, blue line all trains, to a beautiful view over Stockholm and a spectacular piece of art, also loved by children. Finally the complete dinner in Catarina's home, with traditional tastes.

We serve Swedish non alcoholic drinks, fully in accordance with the Swedish laws for sale of dinner or coffee in private homes (the guests are allowed to bring alcoholic drinks).

However, be prepared for Catarina's home made ginger shot because it is powerful! This shot is called "nubbe" and it's always served together with the starter while singing a short traditional shot song, a "nubbe-sång". And we welcome you to give us a song from your country too!

​

Catarina accompany you back to the metro after the dinner and show the art in this deepest and youngest metro line. Our guests of all ages usually enjoy the humor displayed by the creator of this special metro station.

• Within a week before the DINNER tour, we are happy to email our list of tips in Stockholm for museums, places to eat, views, bathing spots, etc that we particularly like.

• And if, after the Swedish DINNER, you would like some recipes, you will also receive these by email.

2. A tour to SWEDISH FIKA in a Swedish home at 12:00.

We meet outside the Royal OPERA House, the main entrance. Maybe we'll be lucky and see the guard parade go by, before going to one or our homes via some of our favorite art.

The SWEDISH FIKA includes a cup of soup, before the cake buffet and Swedish roasted coffee, tea, chocolate or juice. You are served delicious cinnamon or cardamom buns and several different Swedish cakes. If there are children in the group, they are welcome to join in rolling Swedish chocolate balls, please tell us by booking. It usually gets messy and fun!

PRICES

The Swedish DINNER tour: SEK 1.095 per person, SEK 990 per child up to 12 years.

Discount when booking two weeks or more in advance: SEK 990 per person, 890 per child up to 12 years.

The Swedish FIKA tour with a soup followed by a buffet of buns and cookies: SEK 725 per person, SEK 625 per child up to 12 years.

(25% VAT is included in all prices).

Swedish dinner or Swedish fika in our homes are paid for in advance

When Sill & Fika / CB Tal & Text have confirmed your booking we will send a link for payment. We use Zettle's payment system. In the event of cancellation, repayment in full will be made up to midnight one week before the walking tour to our Swedish home.

Therefore book a guided tour or two, put on your walking shoes and bring your SL- or bank card for a short ride on the metro/subway ("tunnelbanan") and about 30 minutes walk with several pauses, to a TRADITIONAL DINNER or a SWEDISH FIKA in one of our homes.
