Swedish fika in a Swedish home, December 6

This cultural walk starts with a favorite among the great Swedish opera singers, Jussi Björling, in Stockholm city. In the Swedish home we serve THE SWEDISH FIKA (coffee/tea/hot chocolate and a buffet with home-baked traditional cakes and the famous Swedish cinnamon or cardamom buns). If you want to bake a Swedish cake when you come to this Swedish home, you are welcome to tell us before your visit!​

After a walk in the neighbourhood, a funny piece of art and a fantastic view at 5:00 PM, we serve a TRADITIONAL SWEDISH 3-COURSE DINNER of MINIBUFFÉ with shots to the first plate and several Swedish songs. In Christmas time alway the populare Jansson's temptation ("Janssons frestelse") at the table. In August, or upon request, we organize a traditional crayfish feast and serve a vegetarian pie with tasty cheese from northern Sweden, before the traditional dessert and coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Vegetarian and vegan options, with a taste of Sweden, can always be ordered at least two days before our meeting.​
