Swedish DINNER in a Swedish home

After a walk in the neighborhood, a funny piece of art and a fantastic view at 5:00 PM, we serve a TRADITIONAL SWEDISH DINNER ("husmanskost") with home made ginger shots and Swedish songs. Often the popular Jansson's temptation ("Janssons frestelse") at the table. In August, or upon request, we organize a traditional crayfish feast and serve a vegetarian pie with tasty cheese from northern Sweden, before the traditional dessert and coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Vegetarian and vegan options, with a taste of Sweden, can always be ordered at least two days before our meeting.​

Swedish FIKA in a Swedish home

This starts with a walk to favorite among the great Swedish opera singers, Jussi Björling, in Stockholm city. In the Swedish home we serve THE SWEDISH FIKA (coffee/tea/hot chocolate and a buffet with home-baked traditional cakes and the famous Swedish cinnamon or cardamom buns). If you want to bake a Swedish cake when you come to this Swedish home, you are welcome to tell us before your visit!​
